Mrs. Adriana Sooknanan
2nd Grade Teacher, Bilingual (Spanish)
Mrs. Sooknanan received her B.S. in Environmental Science from University of South Florida and M.A. in Teaching from University of South Carolina. She is certified in the State of South Carolina for Elementary Education with a Gifted and Talented Endorsement since 2007 to present and she is currently pursuing her Literacy Teacher Endorsement with the State of South Carolina. She has 16 years of experience in both public and private schools. She taught 3 years ESOL to students in grades K-5 and 7 years of 3rd grade including Gifted and Talented within Beaufort County School District. She been at Holy Trinity for the past 6 years in 2nd grade. She is an active member of Community Bible Church and serves in the Children’s Ministry in the areas of nursery and Upwards Sports. In her free time she likes to spend time with her husband and two children and to enjoy the beauty and nature of the Lowcountry.
