Mrs. Denise Stone

 

Mrs. Stone received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Valdosta State University. She previously taught music in Beaufort County Schools, as well as in a private Christian school and Department of Defense Schools in Okinawa, Japan. She home-schooled her children for three years with Classical Conversations while serving as a tutor for their Essentials of the English Language program. In addition to teaching music at Holy Trinity, Mrs. Stone has a private piano studio. She seeks to broaden her students’ exposure to music that they may not have explored on their own, while giving them the tools and skills needed to participate in music performances, as well as to fully participate in worship. Mrs. Stone has a particular desire to teach her students to sing the great hymns of our faith. She is a member of Community Bible Church, where she serves with her husband, Josh, in marriage ministry, as well as in music ministry, women’s ministry, and Vacation Bible School. The Stones’ children, Rebekah and Caleb, are Holy Trinity alumni.
