Rev. Tom Cannon

 

A native of Philadelphia, Reverend Cannon earned a B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina and an M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary. His 36 years of ministry with the Presbyterian Church in America has been primarily on the university campus and included service in Australia, New York City, and Savannah. From 1982 to 2018 he ministered to successive generations of college students. From that experience, he has developed strong convictions about preparing Christian students for the secular university campus. He hopes to bring that to bear on his time at HTCCS. Married to Dawn for 37 years, he has three adult children and one grandchild. As an inveterate fan of Gamecock and Philadelphia sports, he is clearly a glutton for punishment.
